Superbuy Fees & Service Costs

Spreadsheet prices are only the seller line. Superbuy costs usually split into domestic purchasing, optional warehouse extras, and international shipping.

Read this when: Read this after you shortlist a Superbuy Spreadsheet find and before you paste the link into Superbuy — so Stage 1 and Stage 2 costs do not surprise you.

Step-by-step

Separate Stage 1 (buy) from Stage 2 (ship abroad)

Superbuy describes total shopping cost as product cost, international shipping fee, and optional value-added service fees. Those map to two stages: purchasing into the China warehouse, then shipping overseas.

Stage 1 is what you pay so Superbuy can buy the item and receive Chinese domestic delivery. Stage 2 is what you pay later to move a consolidated parcel abroad after QC. Spreadsheet cards almost always show only a product-side estimate.

Mental model for a haul: shortlist on this site → pay Stage 1 in Superbuy → review warehouse photos → choose packing → pay Stage 2. Mixing those steps is how “cheap sheet finds” turn into expensive surprises.

Know which platforms are purchasing-fee free

On Superbuy’s fee composition page, standard purchasing from mainstream platforms such as Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, and 1688 lists no purchasing service fee. You still pay the listed product price and the China domestic courier into the warehouse.

Secondhand platforms (examples on the fee page include Xianyu, Paipai, and Zhuanzhuan) can carry a flat CN¥ fee per item. Other secondhand or unlisted sources, plus expert / special sourcing styles of order, can use a percentage fee with published minimum and maximum caps.

For Superbuy Spreadsheet research, prefer clear Taobao / Weidian / 1688 item URLs you will paste as standard purchases. Niche DIY sources are research leads only until you confirm the fee line inside Superbuy.

Budget optional warehouse extras — they are not “hidden cart junk”

Value-added services bill only after you request them. Common spreadsheet-buyer extras include detailed photos, re-inspection, reinforced packing, vacuum packing, moisture protection, and power-on tests for some electronics.

Free standard inspection photos are limited. If a spreadsheet gallery left swoosh, hardware, or print detail unclear, paying for a detail angle in the warehouse is usually cheaper than shipping a reject.

Package-removal style options (including removing product boxes) can lower volumetric shipping cost and may be free or low-cost depending on the packing preference you select when submitting the parcel — confirm the live packing menu.

Quote international freight after warehouse weight exists

Stage 2 shipping is a system quote from chargeable weight/volume, destination, and the line you pick. Superbuy commonly collects a deposit against an estimate, then reconciles against the carrier weigh (refund or balance as needed).

Use Superbuy’s shipping calculator when you submit. Decide box removal / compression first — re-comparing lines after you already locked packaging wastes time and can change which line wins.

Restricted or sensitive goods (batteries, liquids, some branded categories) may force a more expensive line or block a cheap one. Confirm accepted goods for your destination before you treat a spreadsheet tip as final freight math.

Superbuy’s own fee page uses a clothing example around a CN¥ 100 Taobao item with CN¥ 10 domestic shipping and a paid detailed photo. Stage 1 becomes product + domestic shipping + ¥0 purchasing fee + the photo fee — not just the sheet’s product number.

Your spreadsheet card might show a USD hint converted from product CNY only. Add domestic shipping and any extras, then remember Stage 2 freight is still unpaid until parcel submission.

If that landed sketch already feels uncomfortable, cut bulk in the shortlist — do not fix a weak research plan by hoping packing tricks erase a too-large haul.

Why is my Superbuy total higher than the spreadsheet price?

Are Superbuy value-added services required?
